WATCH: EvenBet unveils poker made simple

Dmitry Starostenkov, CEO of EvenBet, spoke with Game Lounge Media to discuss the launch of EvenBet Spins, a new product for operators.

EvenBet CEO Dmitry Starostenkov spoke with Game Lounge Media about a new product being launched known as EvenBet Spins. He described this as “an innovative product for sportsbook and casino operators, allowing them to add poker vertical into their operation much easier and much faster than typical poker vertical”.

Addressing a gap

Starostenkov remarked that normally, what is seen is that when poker is offered to casino and sportsbook operators, “they are afraid about adding this vertical because from one side, it is appealing and they have players asking to play poker, but on the other side they think about all the operational costs, the hassles, burdens, potential fraud risk, and so forth”.

With that in mind, he said that EvenBet decided to make a lightweight product for these operators, a product which he said combines poker experience and casino experience and is easy to understand for players as well as operators.

He said that as EvenBet introduces the new product, it will be pushed actively in 2026 while also evolving, including through the addition of new features. He commented that the product will be EvenBet’s main focus, as it will allow the business to better cater to regional markets such as Africa and LATAM. “We will try to innovate more and more in product to cater to local markets in a more efficient way.”

Emerging markets

The EvenBet CEO remarked that Europe is a very established market, and added that EvenBet is not seeing a very big growth of popularity of poker in Europe, but that it is still growing a little each year. However, he said that when looking at emerging markets such as LATAM or Asia, one would see that it is “really growing fast” in such markets due to there being a big audience that is untouched by poker and which has a big interest to grow.

Starostenkov described the United States of America as “a motherland for poker”, as he commented that there are also more and more states opening for poker, with bigger and bigger audiences available to work with casino and sportsbook operators.

On Africa, he said that it is a region which could be a potential market but which is still at a very early stage. He continued that the MENA region has “big potential for poker” and that EvenBet is “very excited about this”. He added that players in the region are already playing private games and travel to casinos in different regions to play poker games.

“There is already an audience to play, and this audience is a rich audience… So as soon as it’s opening for poker, we believe it will be a very good addition to the whole poker landscape worldwide. A very thriving market for poker,” he stated.
