Trust starts with data.

Affiliate Trust Hero

What the TDI measures

The TDI evaluates affiliate platforms across four core areas — data depth, API usability, reporting accuracy and security standards. Each edition raises the bar, giving operators and affiliates a clear independent view of who is actually delivering on transparency and who is not.

We built this report because we believe the iGaming industry deserves better data standards. We hold ourselves to the same benchmark we measure others against.

How we categorise platforms

Every platform we evaluate falls into one of four quadrants based on two things — how good their data is and how easy it is to access.

Gold Standard Combines rich granular data with excellent usability. These platforms provide exactly what modern affiliates need. Comprehensive insights delivered in a way that actually works.

Manual Maze Detailed data that is painful to access. Often involves manual exports, clunky interfaces and inefficient workflows. The information is there but getting to it costs time and resources.

Easy but Opaque User friendly platforms with streamlined APIs but limited depth in the data. Best for basic performance tracking but not for anything requiring serious analysis.

Black Box Lacks both usability and data transparency. Minimal insights, weak integration and often requires heavy workarounds to extract any value at all.

The report so far

  • April 2025
    First Edition

The first of its kind. The inaugural Affiliate Trust and Data Index evaluated affiliate platforms across 100 plus real world data points, setting the first industry benchmark for transparency and data quality.

  • September 2025
    Second Edition

A sharper, more demanding benchmark. The second edition introduced AI readiness scoring, clearer platform shift metrics and a bolder challenge to the industry to improve data access and accountability.

Good data is good for everyone

We see this initiative as a win for every party involved in the affiliate ecosystem.

A win for the operator. Better quality data means we can drive higher value players. Transparency builds the trust that long-term partnerships are built on.

A win for the platform, more value for the operator, leads to higher commission for the platform. Platforms that embrace transparency are rewarded with stronger operator relationships.

A win for the affiliate. Improved performance strengthens partnerships with operators. Affiliates who demand better data get better results.

When data flows well, platforms are transparent, and integrations run smoothly, everyone benefits.

Why transparency matters in iGaming

Affiliate platforms sit between operators and the players they want to reach. The data they hold, how they report it and how accessible it is directly affect the decisions operators make and the trust players place in the brands they recommend.

For too long, that data has been opaque, inconsistent and difficult to verify. The TDI exists to change that. One clear, public, independently produced benchmark that the whole industry can use.

Built by a Tier-1 affiliate

The Trust and Data Index is researched, produced and published by Game Lounge, a Tier-1 global iGaming affiliate headquartered in Malta with over a decade of experience operating in regulated markets across Europe, Asia and North America.

We built this for the industry because we believe a more transparent affiliate ecosystem benefits everyone in it. For too long, that data has been opaque, inconsistent and difficult to verify. The TDI exists to change that. One clear, public, independently produced benchmark that the whole industry can use.
