Speakers to watch out for at SiGMA South Asia 2025

SiGMA South Asia 2025 makes its debut in Colombo, bringing together operators, affiliates, suppliers, and technology innovators for a comprehensive look at the region’s fast-growing gaming and digital ecosystem. The event runs from 30 November to 2 December 2025 at the Lumina Ballroom in Colombo, with the main conference taking place on 1–2 December and a day of pre-event activities scheduled for 30 November. Across the three days, attendees can expect keynotes, panels, awards, and focused networking opportunities framed by Colombo’s vibrant cultural and culinary scene.

The speakers highlighted below represent only a portion of the full programme, reflecting the wide range of expertise shaping South Asia’s emerging digital economy.

Joe Pisano, CEO of JADE Entertainment and Gaming, will discuss “No Face, No Trace: AI, Data and the Player Profile” at 12:45 PM. His session examines how AI-driven personalization intersects with tightening data privacy regulations and looks toward a future of blockchain-based Web3 gaming environments. Pisano has previously spoken about the possibility of players entering virtual casino worlds to engage with live gaming experiences.

Raj Kapoor, Founder of the India Blockchain Alliance, delivers the keynote “Tokenize Me!” from 1:00 PM to 1:15 PM. Known for his work in advancing blockchain education and adoption across India, Kapoor will explore how tokenization can convert traditionally static assets into dynamic, tradeable markets.


Adam Fonsica, Co-Founder and COO of Random State, speaks from 2:40 PM to 2:55 PM on “Modernizing Luck.” His presentation focuses on the transition from traditional gambling formats to modern online environments, drawing from his background in digital gaming development and marketing strategy.
From 11:40 AM to 12:10 PM, Vector AI Founder Jeevan Gnanam will examine the emerging role of AI agents in organisational automation and decision-making. Gnanam is recognized for his work in deploying intelligent systems to support business innovation.

A fireside chat on Day 1 features Evan Luthra, Founding Partner at KOL Capital, from 3:40 PM to 4:00 PM. Luthra, an entrepreneur and investor active in the blockchain and entertainment industries, will discuss emerging applications shaping the next phase of Web3.

LankaPay CEO Channa De Silva will join the panel “Payments Orchestration and the Future of Digital Transactions” from 3:05 PM to 3:35 PM. With more than three decades of experience in technology-driven organisations across multiple countries, De Silva has played a central role in advancing Sri Lanka’s digital payments infrastructure and expanding financial access.

At 2:20 PM, Kapili Dhiman, Co-Founder and CEO of Quranium, presents “Be Uncrackable: The Quantum Defense of Blockchain.” A specialist in cryptographic systems, Dhiman will address the growing need to prepare blockchain networks for the security challenges posed by quantum computing.

iGaming discussions in South Asia

H.E. Reuben Gauci, Malta’s High Commissioner to India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and Ambassador to Nepal, will officially open SiGMA South Asia 2025 during the inaugural ceremony on 1 December from 11:40 AM to 12:00 PM. Gauci has served in the Maltese foreign service since 2007 and has been instrumental in strengthening diplomatic and economic ties across South Asia.

Mahesha Amarasuriya, Director at MasterCard, will also contribute to the payments orchestration panel, offering insights into how this technology is reshaping digital commerce through enhanced efficiency, security, and scalability.

On Day 2 at 11:05 AM, Sanali Kaushalya, Country Director and Ambassador for Women in Tech Sri Lanka, will speak on “Inclusive Tech for Responsible Growth.” Her work focuses on expanding opportunities for women in STEM and promoting ethical approaches to innovation within the fintech sector.

With two days of discussions covering blockchain developments, advances in AI, digital payments evolution, and inclusive technology frameworks, SiGMA South Asia 2025 offers a comprehensive view of the trends influencing the region’s rapidly evolving iGaming and tech landscape.
