Game Lounge team joins industry leaders at SiGMA Rome Summit 

The Game Lounge executive team led by CEO Richard Dennys are in full force at SiGMA Central Europe in Rome this week, joining regulators, policymakers, operators, affiliates and tech leaders for three days of high-level talks on gaming, betting and innovation across Europe. 

European Parliament President Roberta Metsola to open the ceremony 

The summit, running November 3–6, opens with a ceremony featuring European Parliament President Roberta Metsola and Italy’s Deputy Prime Minister Antonio Tajani, alongside SiGMA founder Eman Pulis and Malta’s Ambassador to Italy, Daniel Azzopardi. 

Key discussions will focus on regulation, compliance, and growth strategies. EGBA Secretary-General Maarten Haijer leads a panel on Europe’s regulatory outlook, while Betsson COO Ronni Hartvig delivers a keynote on brand evolution in regulated markets. Alea founder Alexandre Tomic will address workplace wellbeing as a driver of performance. 

Government figures including Italy’s Federico Freni and Malta’s Silvio Schembri will outline fiscal and regulatory measures supporting responsible gaming and innovation. MEP Brando Benifei, author of the EU AI Act, will discuss AI governance and policy adoption. 

Sessions on integrity and oversight feature regulators from Cyprus, Bulgaria, and Latvia, while the International Betting Integrity Association’s Antonio Zerafa leads a “Sports Betting Integrity Masterclass.” 

Affiliate marketing, innovation and leadership are also on the agenda, with industry figures from Google, ACT AI NOW, and SOFTSWISS exploring data-driven strategies, AI regulation, and emerging market trends. 

The SiGMA Central Europe Summit 2025 serves as a key forum for Europe’s gaming ecosystem, uniting industry, government, and tech leaders to shape the future of a rapidly evolving sector.
