Game Lounge partners with EGBA to promote Responsible Gaming Week

Game Lounge is proud to announce its participation in European Safer Gambling Week 2025, taking place from 17–23 November, in partnership with the European Gaming and Betting Association (EGBA).

This annual initiative, now in its fifth edition, is Europe’s leading platform for promoting safer gambling and fostering a culture of player protection.

As part of the campaign, Game Lounge will host a special internal presentation on responsible gaming, the official week, led by Richard Dennys, CEO of Game Lounge, together with David Xuereb, Chairman of the Malta Council for Economic and Social Development (MCESD) and Chairman of the Malta ESG Alliance and the Executive Management Team of Responsible Gaming Foundation.

The sessions will provide employees, partners, and stakeholders with practical insights, guidance, and resources to promote safer play, reflecting the company’s commitment to the social aspect of ESG.

In addition, Game Lounge will run a series of awareness-raising activities throughout the week, including social media campaigns, educational resources, and employee engagement initiatives, all designed to highlight the importance of responsible gaming practices.

“Responsible gaming is central to the way we operate at Game Lounge,” said Richard Dennys. “By partnering with EGBA for European Safer Gambling Week, we not only raise awareness among our teams and stakeholders but also demonstrate our commitment to social responsibility and a safe, sustainable gaming environment.”

This initiative reinforces Game Lounge’s dedication to employee and player wellbeing, social impact, and industry leadership, while contributing to the broader goals of safer gambling across Europe.

The European Gaming and Betting Association (EGBA) is the Brussels-based trade association representing leading online gambling operators in the EU. EGBA coordinates the annual European Safer Gambling Week, collaborating across the industry to promote safer and more sustainable play.
