The Affiliate Trust & Data Index Report was created to give the iGaming industry a clear benchmark for transparency and trust. For too long, platforms have been compared on looks alone while the real questions about data depth, API usability and security were left unanswered.

From the beginning, our aim has been to raise standards across the ecosystem. Using more than 100 data points, the Index cuts through marketing claims and shows which platforms truly support automation, scale and AI-ready decisions.

A Smarter Way to Evaluate Affiliate Platforms

At Game Lounge, we work with a wide range of affiliate systems. Some are intuitive and data-rich. Others fall short. This inconsistency affects our ability to optimise marketing spend and build long-term value.

To address this, we’ve developed the Affiliate Trust and Data Index Report, a framework that scores and compares iGaming Affiliate Platforms based on what matters most to performance-driven affiliates and their operator partners.

We evaluate iGaming Affiliate Platforms across three core dimensions. Granularity refers to the richness and transparency of the data available. Usability focuses on the quality of API access and how easily the platform fits into affiliate workflows. Security is about protecting data integrity and managing access responsibly.

While we don’t score it separately, essential security measures are built into the usability criteria. This includes support for 2FA using OTP, API key authentication, and 2FA for sensitive changes like bank details, password updates, or withdrawals.

This report summarises our current findings. It reflects how well-known platforms perform when assessed objectively using consistent, reliable criteria.

We focus on three dimensions:

    The depth and transparency of the data available, enabling meaningful insights and decision-making.

  • Unique Products & Tools
    Usability

    The quality of API access and how seamlessly the platform fits into affiliate workflows and tools.

  • Brand Exposure
    Security

    The controls in place to protect data integrity and access. Core security criteria are built into usability scoring.

Quadrants Explained

Manual Maze
Offers detailed data, but accessing it is painful. Often involves manual exports, clunky interfaces, and inefficient workflows.

Black Box
Lacks both usability and data transparency. Minimal insights, weak integration, and often requires heavy workarounds to extract any value.

Gold Standard
Combines rich, granular data with excellent usability. These platforms provide exactly what modern affiliates need; a comprehensive insights delivered in a user-friendly way.

Easy but Opaque
User-friendly platforms with streamlined APIs, but limited depth in the data. Best for basic performance tracking but not for deep analysis.
