Game Lounge donates to charity supporting Ukrainian refugees

PAH was founded around 28 years ago with the aim to “provide aid to people suffering from armed conflicts and natural disasters”. Since the war broke out, they have been offering direct help – including food, psychological help and more – to refugees who have had to flee their homes. As the situation is constantly changing, the support the charity offers adapts to refugees’ needs and monetary donations allow them to do this best.

The war in Ukraine hit close to home for Game Lounge as numerous colleagues and consultants are based in or from Ukraine. Game Lounge is in constant contact with them and remains ready to offer support as soon as it is needed.

“We are all praying for peace – but we are also determined to help the humanitarian effort right now in a bid to save lives in Ukraine. We want to show our support by donating money to the Polish Humanitarian Action organisation (pah.org.pl) that are working 24/7 at the Polish border, making sure that the refugees are safe, getting medical assistance, food and hygiene products. They pay extra attention to children and teenagers, and the fantastic volunteers of PAH are trying to occupy children with something other than the very difficult situation their families found themselves in.” , said Jonas Cederholm, Founder and CEO of Game Lounge.
